Lintava is a Cimbalom music band that originates from the Czech Republic, from the Sister City of Kunovice. Lintava has been playing since 2002, performing folk music from Moravia, Bohemia, and Slovakia. They accompany folk ensembles in Kunovice during their performances, play at parties and casual gatherings over good wine in wine cellars, and perform at folk festivals such as the Ride of the Kings in Kunovice or the Folklore Festival in Strážnice. At Westfest, they will play in the following lineup:
Ondřej Siman – band leader, primary – violin
Petr Vlachynský – violin
Dominik Pazderský – contrabass
Tomáš Drábek – violin
Stanislav Mach – cimbalom
Especially for Westfest, the band will also bring dancers:
Veronika Machálková and Jakub Machálek who will perform songs and dances from the Slovácko region.
